And post that, RUSH completely fails to exploit its fine basic plot revealing the dark side of today's news media, which is fast moving towards more sensationalism and less journalism. With an average cinematography & background score, its storyline revolves around money, power, media and crime but does not even start till its Interval. It remains dull throughout mainly due to its slow pace and unwanted, mediocre songs thrown in without any purpose, out of which only "Fukre" sounds the best.

As a result for a common viewer, who is not aware of the actual story behind its making, RUSH turns out to be an entirely uninteresting or hollow kind of attempt made without any basic vision. But looking at the final product before us, it can easily be said that the film has suffered a lot due to the mixed visions coming in from more than one person during its completion process without any doubt. Now whether the film was mostly complete or not at the time of its director's death is not known. Reportedly, its leading hero Emraan Hashmi too helped in the completion of the film going out of the way which enabled Percept Pictures to finally release it after a lot of re-work and post production. The project was earlier called "24x7 Raftaar" which was later completed by Shamin's wife Priyanka Desai after that shattering untimely incident. And that one unfortunate fact is that RUSH was actually the directorial venture of Late Shamin Desai who sadly couldn't complete the film and passed away in early 2011.

The disconnect and the lack of right timing between its various sequences clearly give you an indication that there is something peculiar going on here which is not allowing the film to come out strongly. The song Hote Hote has made rage reviews and its dance steps are well appreciated.RUSH is a film which starts revealing the unfortunate truths behind its making in its first 10 minutes itself. Sandip has always delivered the best of best Choreography so far and this one from Rush has also won him applauses. The song is just sexy and hot and I have incorporated moves from different dance forms so that the song can have a very International Appeal. And about the set up the entire look of the song was like Moulin Rouge (i.e. The producers had specially got dancers from London for this song and they were very good in catching the steps. But as I choreographed steps for him he came out as a 'chhupa rustom' and he did a great Job and yes he has danced some different steps for this song too." Emraan told, 'Please difficult steps mat dena'. Sandip further revealed that, "When the time came to choreograph Emraan Hashmi's steps for the song. Sandip also revealed that the 'Hote Hote' song was first called 'Say' but now it has been transformed to 'Hote Hote'."

And I must say, she prove to be outstanding and did a lot of hard work and I can proudly say that the salsa classes she took with me before the song.has made her look sensational in this song. Sandip says, "I made Neha to take classes from me to practice the song as the lyrics of the songs demands sensuality along with lots of dance moves.
